I want to share with you a rig I did a while ago. This is the Luxo Jr from Pixar. The 3d model is free and can be downloaded from Hum3D.com. Also the scene is free to use as you want. Happy animating! :)

Free Scalable / Squash and Stretch / Bouncing Ball Rig for 3Ds Max
Being inspired by Animation Mentor, I've decided to create a 3ds max ball rig. This can be useful in the trial period of learning animation in max.
Also, the ball has an optional tail. Have fun!

MAXscript - Conform objects.
Description: Best for retopology. Conforming low poly mesh on to high poly mesh.
How to use:
1. select first the low poly mesh;
2. select second the high poly mesh;
3. evaluate the script.
NOTE: the LP mesh MUST not intersect the HP mesh and have to cover outwards.

MAXscript - Delete empty layers from 3ds max scene.
Description: Does what title suggest.
How to use:
1. just run / evaluate the script

MAXscript - Copy UV Layout
Description: Copy to clipboard the uvLayout from selection.
How to use:
1. just run / evaluate the script or drag and drop in viewport
2. select the object, select de desire dimension and press the "copy layout" button.
3. paste the image from clipboard to your 2D software (eg. Photoshop).
NOTE: This version of the script works just for one object in selection.

MAXscript - Shrink UVs
Description: Scale UV clusters by centers.
This script is useful in some cases when the textures are fit 100% with the uvs, with no padding baked.
Default value of shrinkness is 2%. Usually this value it is enough.
How to use:
1. add Unwrap UVW modifier on top of the stack.
2. run / evaluate the script.

MAXscript - Overlap selected UV clusters.
Description: Overlap selected UV clusters by centers.
How to use:
1. add Unwrap UVW modifier on top of the stack.
2. select desire clusters (as elements) that you want to overlap.
3. run / evaluate the script.

MAXscript - Delete modifiers
Description: Delete modifiers by match name.
How to use:
1. Select object / objects.
2. Type the name of the modifier do you want to delete and hit "Find & Delete Modifiers" button.
3. The script has 2 options: to delete the selection modifiers or by entire scene.
NOTE: It is not required to type the entire name of the modifier. For instance if you need to delete "TurboSmooth" modifier you can type just "Tur" and press the delete button.

[PAID] SavePose MXS
Description:
You can save the position / rotation / scale of the nodes in scene. This
can be saved as .txt file and used it later. Also it is a good solution for
saving rig controllers position.
